Client
The client is a leading semiconductor manufacturer whose products and solutions address the core areas of energy efficiency, mobility, and security. Our client’s product line comprises microcontrollers, sensors, wireless chipsets, and other such high-end technology products. These products can be deployed for varying applications such as motor control applications, air-conditioning management application, and so on.


Client’s Business Requirement
To leverage on ZigBee standards, the client outsourced the development of a motor control application to Airbee. With this solution, the client wanted to control and monitor the speed of motors installed in any industrial environment.


Airbee’s Solution
Airbee developed the motor control application over its Airbee-ZNS development platform. The application comprised a 4-node mesh network topology that controlled the operation of two motors.

The application was developed such that controls can be executed both from a control center and from a remote handheld mobile device. The PAN Coordinator (from the application in a PC/Laptop/controller) or Router 3 (Hand Held device/remote) can send commands to Router 1 (Motor 1) or Router 2 (Motor 2).The application also had the capability to be expanded to include control and monitoring requirements as needed.
