In certain instances, Airbee utilizes its ZNS-Lite stack, a customized version of the ZigBee stack, to cater to the needs of clients looking for non-ZigBee/customized solutions. Apart from these solutions, Airbee markets Airbee-ZAPP, a Serial Port Profile and I/O mapping private application profile built on Airbee-ZNS stack. Airbee-ZAPP, combines with hardware modules to form a development kit and application developers can use this development kit to quickly implement ZigBee interoperable short range wireless applications.

 

As part of application development, Airbee takes into consideration factors such suitable hardware platform selection, traffic considerations, availability of multiple paths, network performance, interference issues, and choice of the right tool. Based on the requirements from clients, an appropriate model (Waterfall model, V model, and so on) is selected for the development effort.
